Fire Breaks Out In Basement Of Bethel Home BETHEL, Conn. -- Firefighters in Bethel quickly knocked down a fire in a basement on Katrina Circle early Friday morning.At around 4:20 a.m. both the Bethel and Stony Hill Fire Departments were dispatched to combat heavy smoke in the basement of the home. Pedestrian Hit By Car On I-84 In Danbury DANBURY, Conn. -- A female pedestrian was struck on I-84 east in Danbury Thursday evening, causing heavy congestion between exits 2 and 7, according to the News-Times.
