Horses Seized In Redding Neglect Case Offered Up For Adoption REDDING, Conn. -- Two horses seized in a 2014 neglect case in Redding are among several that are being offered for adoption by the Department of Agriculture. All the horses have been placed in the Department of Agriculture custody through investigations by the agency's Animal Control Division. The horses have been cleared to move to new homes with individuals or organizations, and are up to date with vaccinations and have been implanted with a microchip. The state's unemployment fell in November by four-tenths of a percent to 4.7 percent, which is still slightly higher than the national average of 4.6 percent.
