Norwalk Police Seek Possible Witness To Armed Robbery NORWALK, Conn. -- Police are seeking a person of interest who may have witnessed an armed robbery at a variety store on Main Street in Norwalk last week. At 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, the In & Out Variety Store on Main Street was robbed at gunpoint, according to police. The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male wearing a ski mask and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt. He was armed with a large silver revolver when he robbed the store, police said. Westport Man Charged With Firing Pellet Gun At Landscaper WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Westport man was charged with shooting a landscaper with a pellet gun at the Parent Child Center on Saturday, police said. Eric Lindhal, 25, was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and third-degree criminal trespass. He was released on a promise to appear in court Dec. 11. Disabled Car Catches Fire On Thanksgiving In Darien DARIEN, Conn. -- A car left on the side of the road in Darien on Thanksgiving Day caught fire as police towed it away. Police responded to Hoyt Street just before 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27, on a report of a disabled vehicle. Officers arrived to find a black BMW parked on the side of the road with the engine running. The car was in the mud, surrounded by leaves, police said. Darien Police Accuse Four Of Smoking Pot In Tilley Pond Park DARIEN, Conn. -- Three adults and a teenager were arrested after they were caught smoking marijuana in Tilley Pond Park, according to Darien police. A 21-year-old from Hoboken, N.J., a 21-year-old from Darien, a 19-year-old from Stamford and a 16-year-old from Darien were all issued infractions for possession of marijuana. Darien High Students Arrested On Drug Charges After Locker Room Incident DARIEN, Conn. -- Three Darien High School students were arrested on drug charges after police said they were found with Adderall last month in the boys locker room. An investigation began after one of the campus monitors found two 16-year-old students in the boys locker room with a couple pink pills on Nov. 7, police said. One of the students had his credit card out when they were interrupted by the monitor, police said. Norwalk Man Accused Of Shoving Bar Employee NORWALK, Conn. -- A Norwalk man was arrested early Sunday, Nov. 30, after police said he caused a disturbance at the Loft in South Norwalk. Norwalk Man Charged With Drunken Driving After Hitting Police Car NORWALK, Conn. -- A Norwalk man was charged with driving under the influence after police said he hit a police cruiser conducting a DUI checkpoint on Thanksgiving. Matthew Dicesare, 27, was charged with operating under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane. He was held on $250 bond and will appear in court on Dec. 8.
