Norwalk Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Burning Home; 11 People Displaced NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk firefighters worked to quickly extinguish a blaze that destroyed a two-family house on Bouton Street and displaced 11 people Wednesday night. Firefighters responded to the house after receiving numerous 911 calls at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday of a fire burning up the front of the home. The woman told police that she believes the theft occurred when she was at the Panera on Post Road on Saturday, Nov. 8.
