Norwalk's Naramake Students Donate Candy To Troops, Salute Veterans NORWALK, Conn. – Students at Naramake Elementary School in Norwalk paid tribute to veterans Tuesday by donating candy to the troops and holding an assembly in honor of the men and women of the armed forces. The students donated their Halloween candy and other sweets through a candy drive organized by the PTO. Maritime Aquarium's New President Plans To Continue Legacy In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn -- When Brian Davis first walked through the doors of the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, he instantly fell in love with the place. Davis was elected the new president of the aquarium by the Board of Trustees on Monday. He is currently the vice president of education and training at the Georgia Aquarium, and will join the Maritime Aquarium in late December. "It was impossible not to fall in love with that aquarium. Norwalk Community College Veterans Talk Coming Home And Going To School NORWALK, Conn. -- A trio of veterans discussed the difficulties of adjusting to civilian and student life during a Veterans Day ceremony at Norwalk Community College on Monday. Nick Quinzi, Tatiana Quinzi and Alex Prokharchyk are all students at NCC who served in the military. Nick and Tatiana are married with a daughter, and both served in the Marine Corps before leaving the service this year. MTA Seeks Answers In Death Of Man Who Caught Fire Atop Train In Greenwich GREENWICH, Conn. -- Metro-North is investigating the details of the death of Brian McClellan, a 21-year-old Ohio man who died Monday after he was found on fire on top of a train in Greenwich on Sunday morning. McClellan was discovered on top of the train car shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday after the 5:02 a.m. train from Stamford to Grand Central lost power as it was pulling in to Riverside Station in Greenwich. Darien Police: Maine Resident Stole Truck With Two Teen Runaways DARIEN, Conn. -- A 19-year-old Maine resident was arrested in Darien on Thursday after police said he stole a truck while accompanied by two teenage runaways from Maine. Fairfield County's Roman Catholic Diocese May Move Offices To New Location BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The Diocese of Bridgeport is exploring the possibility of moving its central offices from its current location on Jewett Avenue in Bridgeport as a way of cutting costs.
