Debicella Concedes To Himes In Race For Congressional Seat FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Democrat Jim Himes defeated Republican Dan Debicella in Tuesday's election for the Fourth Congressional District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Debicella conceded the race to Himes shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday. Himes is a three-term incumbent from Greenwich who was first elected to Congress in 2008. Debicella is a businessman and former state senator from Shelton. The two previously ran against each other in 2010, when Himes won with 53 percent of the vote. NY Man Killed In Car Crash Near Norwalk-New Canaan Border NORWALK, Conn. -- A 51-year-old New York man was killed in a one-car accident Sunday night in Norwalk near the New Canaan border. Police were called to the intersection of Nursery Street and Nursery Court at 11:36 p.m. Sunday on a report of a one-car accident with injuries. Norwalk Fire and EMS arrived on the scene, as did New Canaan Police and New Canaan Fire due to the accident's close proximity to the New Canaan border. Darien Police Charge Bronx Man In Theft Of ATM Card Information DARIEN, Conn. -- Darien police arrested one Bronx man and are expecting another arrest in an ATM skimming scheme, according to police. Mario Pena, 22, of the Bronx, was charged with fourth-degree larceny, 42 counts of fraudulent use of an ATM, 42 counts of use of a counterfeit credit card, 24 counts of third-degree identity theft, and 24 counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree identity theft. Norwalk Man Charged With Impersonating Doctor NORWALK, Conn. -- A Norwalk man was arrested after police accused him of pretending to be a doctor in order to make a false statement against his wife to the Department of Children and Families (DCF). Mark Neal, 22, was charged with criminal violation of a protective order, second-degree harassment and criminal impersonation. He was held on a $75,000 bond and went to court Monday. Police said that Neal had called DCF and began making allegations against his ex-wife regarding the care of their child.
