Blind Brook School Superintendent William Stark will retire for three days at the end of June. The short retirement allows him to collect a $200,000 pension. Port Chester Hosts Third Walk For Gabby Saturday PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Port Chester High School will hold the third annual Walk for Gabby Saturday in memory of former student Gabrielle Acevedo. Acevedo graduated from Port Chester High School in 2007. She was a senior at Nazareth College when she was involved in a head-on car crash in Pittsford, N.Y. in January 2011. She died of her injuries shortly after at the age of 21. She was majoring in speech pathology. Acevedo was active in the Port Chester community, working as a lifeguard and counselor at the Port Chester Recreation day camp and as a member of the Anthony Faust Mentoring Program.…
