Norwalk Man Charged With Assault In Tax Argument NORWALK, Conn. - A Norwalk man was charged with assault Tuesday after he was unhappy about his tax return, police said. Jeffte Sainvil, 23, was charged with third-degree assault. Police said Sainvil walked into a tax service on South Main Street to pick up his tax returns. He began yelling at the employee, saying that he was unhappy with how much he got for a refund, police said. The employee told Sainvil that he still had to pay for the return and the two started arguing, police said. Sainvil then punched the employee in the face, according to police.

The man was shot while walking near the intersection of Burritt and Lincoln avenues. He told police that he did not recognize his assailants. Darien Schools Approve Budget, Add Security Monitors DARIEN, Conn. — Darien schools will add security monitors as part of the $83,224,929 budget that was approved Tuesday night. The 2013-14 budget is a 4.05 percent increase over this year. A security monitor will be placed at each of the five elementary schools as well as at Middlesex Middle School.
