Stamford Man Charged With Credit Card Fraud In Darien DARIEN, Conn. -- A Stamford man tried to use a fraudulent credit card to purchase a $7,500 Rolex in Darien, police said. He was also charged for similar crimes in Stamford. Kum Po Ng, 57, was charged with third-degree criminal attempt at larceny and illegal use of credit card after Stamford police told Darien police on Wednesday, Nov. 21 they had him in custody on a $200,000 bond. He was held on an additional $100,000 bond. Police said there is an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer on Kum Po Ng, preventing him from posting bond because he is a Malaysian national in the U.S. on a…

Numerous Cars Broken Into In Darien DARIEN, Conn. - A car was stolen and several more were broken into in the area of Relihan Road in Darien, according to police . The owner of a gray 2011 BMW X3 reported that the car had been taken out of his driveway. He had parked it at 7:15 p.m. on Nov. 19 and discovered at 9 a.m. on Nov. 20 that it had been stolen. He told police that he was not sure if he had locked the car, and he may have left a spare key fob in the car. Another one of his cars was also broken into and a $200 GPS was stolen. New Canaan Team Bag Stolen And Urinated On During Game DARIEN, Conn. ? A backpack belonging to the New Canaan High School football team was stolen and urinated on during the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl game, Darien police said. Someone entered the New Canaan team’s locker room at Darien High School during the game and took the backpack. Some personal property was also urinated on. Police said the individuals responsible are not current Darien High School students. The matter is still under investigation.
