Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

List Of Baltimore Officers With Credibility Issues Based On 'Mere Allegations': Report Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby has released a list of more than 300 Baltimore police officers with credibility issues after losing a legal battle.  However, a Baltimore police spokesperson says that the list was based on "mere allegations," Fox45 reports. Murder Charges Cleared For Baltimore Gunman Accused Of Killing Anti-Violence Advocate A Baltimore man has been acquitted of first-degree murder in the 2021 killing of an anti-violence advocate, CBS 13 reports.  Garrick Powell, 29, was accused of killing Safe Streets co-founder Dante Barksdale after he was found shot in the head in January 2021 near the Douglass Homes complex.  Powell's defense team argued that there was not enough evidence to convict Powell of murder, and that the murder weapon could have belonged to someone else other than Powell.  The full report from CBS 13 can be viewed here.
