Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

List Of Baltimore Officers With Credibility Issues Based On 'Mere Allegations': Report Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby has released a list of more than 300 Baltimore police officers with credibility issues after losing a legal battle. However, a Baltimore police spokesperson says that the list was based on "mere allegations," Fox45 reports. Mosby was sued by the nonprofit group, Baltimore Action Legal Team(BALT), to gain access to the list from 2019, which has not been made public until Wednesday, May 25. Theresa Anne Jeffery, 44, leaves behind her husband and two children, and several other family members and friends. She passed away on Tuesday, May 3, according to her obituary. Murder Charges Cleared For Baltimore Gunman Accused Of Killing Anti-Violence Advocate A Baltimore man has been acquitted of first-degree murder in the 2021 killing of an anti-violence advocate, CBS 13 reports. Garrick Powell, 29, was accused of killing Safe Streets co-founder Dante Barksdale after he was found shot in the head in January 2021 near the Douglass Homes complex. Powell's defense team argued that there was not enough evidence to convict Powell of murder, and that the murder weapon could have belonged to someone else other than Powell. Support Surges For Annapolis Family Devastated By Fire A family of seven is seeking help after a devastating house fire left their Annapolis home uninhabitable early this month, according to a GoFundMe page launched by friends. Caitlin and Drew Hall, along with their five young children, were safe after their home became engulfed in flames on Friday, May 20. Extensive fire damage, however, left them with nearly nothing as they did not have homeowners insurance, the fundraiser says. Teens Injured In Baltimore Shooting Two teenagers were injured in a late night shooting in Baltimore, authorities say. A 17-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds was transported to a hospital after being found near the 500 block of Willow Avenue, around 11:36 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, according to Baltimore Police. Older Baltimore Man Shot Dead In Car: Police A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot in a vehicle in Baltimore, authorities say. Officers found an unresponsive 59-year-old man with apparent gunshot wounds inside of a vehicle on the unit block of North Catherine Street around 12:29 a.m., Thursday, May 26, Baltimore Police say. Officers Cleared In Killing Of Armed Man In Baltimore Parking Garage Three Baltimore police officers have been declared justified in the February 2021 shooting death of an armed 25-year-old man, the city's State Attorney's Office announced.
