Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Memorial Day Shooting Sends Victim To Baltimore Hospital A midday holiday shooting in Baltimore sent a man to a hospital with wounds to his upper body, authorities say. An unidentified victim was found shot in the shoulder and arm around on the 2700 block of Greenmount Avenue around 2:50 p.m., Monday, May 30, Baltimore Police say. The suspects got into a physical fight with the residents and threatened to return to harm them before firing at least 20 rounds toward the homes on the 400 block of Longtowne Court around 4 a.m., Sunday, May 29, Anne Arundel County Police say. The victims say the three suspects were strangers and fled in a gray or silver vehicle. Details Released In Deadly Frederick Motorcycle Crash A motorcyclist was killed in a Frederick crash Friday, May 27, according to authorities. A Dodge Charger that veered into oncoming traffic and collided with the motorcycle near Baker Valley and Fingerboard roads around 12:15 p.m., Maryland State Police said. The male operator of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.  Initial investigation suggests weather conditions could have possibly played a role in the crash.

Detectives received a report of shots fired at the Target on 1911 Towne Centre Boulevard around 11 p.m., Thursday, May 26 according to Anne Arundel County Police.  One of the three suspects had shot at the wall of the parking garage attached to the Target before all three suspects fled the scene in a white sedan.
