Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Man Shot Dead Found During Baltimore Warrant Initiative A man who was shot and killed was found during a warrant initiative in Baltimore, authorities say. The 34-year-old victim was located after officers heard gunshots around 1:20 p.m. on the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue, Wednesday, June 1, according to Baltimore Police. Unidentified Male Shot Dead In Glen Burnie A male victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds in Glen Burnie after an early morning shooting, authorities say. The unidentified victim was pronounced dead on the scene around 4 a.m., on the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane, according to Anne Arundel County Police. University For Deaf Students Featured On Netflix Makes Its First National Track Champ (Video) Gallaudet University sophomore Eric Gregory took just 46.19 seconds to become a National Champion. Police ID Man Killed In Maryland Crash After Virginia Driver Failed To Yield: Report Police have identified the elderly man who was killed after his vehicle was struck and went airborne near La Plata, reports WTOP. Ex-National Guardsman From MD Admits Having 12K Child Porn Files Some Of Infant Sadomasochism A former police officer from Maryland and US Army National Guardsman confessed to having more than 12,000 child pornography files, some of sadomasochism and involving infants, authorities said. Baltimore Man Arrested Charged In 2021 Murder A Baltimore man has been arrested in connection to a July 2021 murder, authorities say. Keonteze Montgomery, 22, is accused of shooting and killing Donta Sampson, 45, on the 800 block of West Lexington Street on July 18, 2021, according to Baltimore Police. Montgomery was arrested on the 500 block of North Curley Street, Friday, May 27. He has been charged with first-degree murder.

Unidentified Man Found Shot Dead Inside His Car In Anne Arundel County: Police A man was found dead inside his car after being shot multiple times in Anne Arundel County in the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 1, authorities said.
