Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Metro PCS Store Worker Returns Fire On Angry Baltimore Customer: Police A Metro PCS store employee returned fire on an angry customer Tuesday, May 31 in Baltimore, police said. The customer fire his gun at the worker at the Sinclair Lane store after being told the store couldn't assist him around 1:30 p.m. city police said. Both the worker and the customer were taken to area hospitals for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. This investigation remains open and ongoing and the suspect will be charged with Attempted Armed Robbery, Reckless Endangerment, and various handgun violations upon being discharged from the hospital.

Police are asking for the public's help finding a missing Baltimore man after finding his phone in a search near Pennsylvania Avenue, authorities say. Marcus Vann-Garrison, 28, was last seen in the Park Heights area wearing a gray shirt, black pants, and tan boots, according to Baltimore County Police. Marcus is described as 5-feet 11-inches and weighs 160 pounds.  Anyone with information is requested to call 911 or 410-307-2020.

The trail led to the 20-year-old and 22-year-old male victims who were suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims had traveled from the 2200 block of Presbury Street to the 2200 block of Baker Street around 11:12 p.m., Monday, May 30, Baltimore Police say. Both victims were taken to nearby hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. 2-Year-Old Drowns On Memorial Day In Maryland A 2-year-old child was pronounced dead Tuesday, May 31 after drowning in Elkton over the holiday weekend, CBS2 says citing the Cecil County Sheriff's Office. Lifesaving efforts were performed on the child at the home on the 300 block of Kirk Road around 5:20 p.m., Monday, May 30, the outlet said.
