Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Teen Arrested For String Of Spring Baltimore Burglaries A teenager has been arrested in connection to a string of spring burglaries in Woodlawn, authorities say. The 17-year-old suspect was arrested Friday, May 27 after being tied to eight residential burglaries that took place between April and May 2022, according to Baltimore Police. The suspect would enter homes overnight and during the day through sliding glass doors, and stole multiple electronic devices and money from the victims.  The teen has been charged with eight counts of first degree burglary. He’s been placed in a Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) facility.

Murder: Baltimore Teen Charged As Adult For Killing 34-Year-Old Man A Baltimore teenager has been charged as an adult for the murder of a Baltimore man, authorities say. The 16-year-old is accused of shooting the 34-year-old victim after an argument on the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue around 1:20 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, according to Baltimore Police.  Officers that were in the area heard a gunshot and witnessed the teen attempting to flee while armed with a gun. The teen was quickly apprehended and transported to Central Booking.
