Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Search Continues For Missing Autistic Man In Prince George's County An autistic man has gone missing from Greenbelt, and police are asking for the public's help in locating him, authorities say. Dujuan Hinson, 25, was last seen at a soccer field on the 7200 block of Mandan Road around 9:30 p.m., Monday, May 30, according to the Maryland Center for Missing and Unidentified Persons. Hinson is autistic and may need medical attention. Police Search For Missing Gaithersburg Teen Police are asking for the public's help locating a missing Gaithersburg teen, authorities say. Kimora Bowie, 15, was last seen in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, June 1, according to the Maryland Center for Missing and Unidentified Persons. Bowie was last seen wearing a Hollister hoodie, red t-shirt, jeans, and white Air Force sneakers with beads. She was carrying a tan tote bag.  Bowie is described as 5-feet 3-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. Hiker Suffering Medical Emergency Rescued From Popular Maryland Trail A hiker on on a popular Montgomery County trail was rescued after suffering a medical emergency, authorities say. The hiker's friend called police saying the victim was suffering from what appeared to be heat stroke on the Billy Goat Trail near Old Angler's, around 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, according to Montgomery County Officials.  The victim had been hiking for around five hours in 90 degree temperatures before the medical emergency. They were then transported by boat to a staging area near the trail to receive treatment by medical personnel.
