Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Donald French, 34, lost control of his Harley Davidson after he failed to negotiate a left turn while traveling south on Harford Road around 9:30 p.m., Thursday, May 12, according to Baltimore County Police. Pair Arrested In Baltimore County Shooting Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a shooting that injured two people in Baltimore County, authorities say. Wilbur L. Anderson, 42, and Victor M. Gay Jr., 32, were arrested after shooting a male and female victim on the 2400 block of Tionesta Road around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, Baltimore County detectives say. Repeat Offender Charged With Attempted Murder In Baltimore: Police A Baltimore man who is accused of shooting a man in the ankle has been charged with attempted murder, say authorities. John Ray, 35, allegedly shot the victim, 40, after a dispute on the 900 block of Druid Hill Avenue, Sunday, May 1, says Baltimore Police. Police ID Teen, Man Killed In Maryland Shooting A 16-year-old boy and 21-year-old man were killed in a Gaithersburg shooting Wednesday, May 11, authorities said.
