Loretta Soltys Brya, 96, Lifelong Resident Of Garfield GARFIELD, N.J. -- Loretta Soltys Brya, lifetime resident of Garfield, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015. She was 96. She was predeceased by her husband, Boles Byra. Prior to her retirement in 1982, Loretta was a secretary for Arrow Carrier Corporation in North Bergen for 25 years. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church in Garfield, and also a member of the English Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Asociation of the Sons of Poland in Carlstadt. He was born in Bayonne, New Jersey to the late Anna (nee Brody) and Arthur J. Ehrenbeck. He was a Navy veteran who served during World War II, and was employed first as a stenographer for the New York City District Attorney’s Office, and then later as a certified court stenographer for the State of New Jersey, Bergen County Court House.
