Law enforcement officers are out on Connecticut roads enforcing the state occupant protection laws, the department reports. Citations will be issued to those who don’t wear seat belts.

Next Wanaque School Discussion Focuses On Parcc WANAQUE, N.J. -- The Wanaque School District has announced the next Parent Academy event, which will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2 in the Haskell School gymnasium. The meeting, entitled “PARCC Testing – Interpreting Your Child’s Score,” will focus on the current state standardized testing system. PARCC, an acronym for the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers, is now in its second year.

Park Avenue will be closed to all vehicles first, beginning at 7 p.m., officials said.
