Bridgeport Man Found Dead Behind CT Condos Was Killed; Victim ID’d Police say a man whose body was found near a Connecticut condominium complex earlier this week was murdered.  Derick William Mercado-Labonte, 29, of Bridgeport, was found in the woods behind a Farmington condo complex on Talcott Forest Road around 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, police said.  Police said Mercado-Labonte's body had suffered severe "areas of trauma." Hemingway was responsible for 49 burglaries and roughly $100,000 in stolen goods during a three-month crime spree in 2023, authorities said. 2 Hospitalized After West Hartford Crash; Police Investigating Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash in West Hartford on Friday morning, March 20, authorities said.  West Hartford police were called to the crash just before 10 a.m. at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Trout Brook Drive.  Paramedics took two people who suffered minor injuries to an area hospital for treatment. Both drivers remained at the scene.  Police did not release their names.  West Hartford police are investigating.
