2 Arrested In New Haven Halloween Shooting That Killed 18-Year-Old Police in Connecticut say they've arrested two people in connection with a fatal shooting on Halloween that left an 18-year-old woman dead.  Gunfire erupted after a fight near Church Street and Center Street in New Haven around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 1, following Halloween festivities earlier that night. Four people were hurt, including 18-year-old Alexa Acevedo, who later died of her injuries, police said.  One of the men who was shot during the attack was 20-year-old Charles Woodall of East Hartford. Police ID Pedestrian Killed In Waterbury Hit-Run Crash As 43-Year-Old Woman Authorities have identified a 43-year-old woman from Waterbury as the person killed in a hit-and-run crash over the weekend. Sabrina Starkey, 43, was killed after being struck by a car around 9:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, near 410 Reidville Drive in Waterbury, police said. Waterbury officers were called to the area for reports of a car crashing into a pedestrian and then fleeing the scene. They arrived to find Starkey suffering from catastrophic injuries.
