Two suspects stormed into King Jewelers around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17,  while a third acted as a lookout outside, according to police. Surveillance video shows the masked men smashing display cases with hammers to grab chains, earrings, and other valuable items.  Investigators said the value of the stolen jewelry is still being determined. Fire Breaks Out On Norwalk Car Dealership Roof; Smoke Visible For Miles Norwalk fire crews rushed to a blaze at Garavel Subaru on Main Avenue after witnesses noticed flames and smoke billowing from the roof of the building Friday, Sept 19.  Norwalk Engine 1 was only several hundred yards away when the call came in just after 3 p.m. They were already headed to a motor vehicle accident, but quickly diverted. That fast move kept the fire from spreading. Firefighters found multiple solar panels on the roof burning. Crews stretched a line to the roof and put out the flames. Scott Clemons, 61, was arrested at the spot where he and an undercover agent posing as a child were scheduled to meet up in Pittsfield. Members of the Berkshire State Police Detective Unit, the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force, the Massachusetts State Police Cyber Crimes Unit, and the State Police Unsolved Crime Unit ran the operation.
