A Long Island man sold 12 ghost guns to an undercover police officer, authorities said Tuesday, March 31.
Bryan Bennett, a 36-year-old Saint James resident, was arrested after three separate transactions with the undercover cop between March 2024 and January 2026, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said.
Bennett was paid $12,500 for the weapons, then arrested on Thursday, Feb. 25 while in possession of five more illegal firearms, authorities said.
