A Long Island man plied a vulnerable woman with crack cocaine, then sex trafficked her under threat of a violence, a jury found Monday, March 30.
Mitchell Johnson, a 38-year-old Farmingville man, was convicted of sex trafficking and promoting prostitution, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office announced.
Johnson enticed the victim in March 2023 by pretending to be another woman, then preyed on her crack addiction, prosecutors said. He then forced the victim to remain in a motel room and perform sex acts for money, according to investigators.

Gustavo Hernandez, 40, and his nephews, Walter Ramirez Jeronimo, 21, and Wilson Ramirez Jeronimo, 19, were each sentenced to 25 years behind bars, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said.
