Stepinac Assistant Named Head Football Coach At Rival Iona Prep WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Iona Prep will have a familiar face strolling its football sideline in New Rochelle in the fall. Fans from Archbishop Stepinac in White Plains will also recognize the Gaels’ new coach. Joe Spagnolo, a 10-year assistant to Mike O’Donnell at Stepinac, was named the new head coach Monday. Spagnolo quarterbacked Iona Prep before going to play at Siena College before finishing his playing career at Bryant College. Spagnolo replaces Vic Quirolo, who stepped down after last season. Norwalk Home Sales Improve 9 Percent In 2015 NORWALK, Conn. -- Home sales in Norwalk improved by 9 percent in 2015, according to the year-end report by William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty. Fourth quarter sales rose 1 percent in Norwalk. For the year, there were 650 home sales, up from 597 in 2014. Norwalk’s trend reflected county wide trend with increased activity. Real estate sales rose 10 percent in Fairfield County in 2015, and eight percent in the final quarter. Home Sales Fall In Stamford In The 4th Quarter FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fourth quarter real estate sales fell in Stamford, Darien and New Canaan, bucking a county trend that saw increased activity in many other towns.
