Weston Church Continues Christmas Tree Bonfire Tradition WESTON, Conn. -- Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Weston will conduct a bonfire of Christmas trees on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 6 p.m. The church, which is at 285 Lyons Plain Road,  re-started the Epiphany tradition of burning Christmas trees seven years ago.  The event raised $2,000 for the Weston Warm-Up Fund in January.
