Young Norwalk Wrestlers Win 5 Gold Medals In Opening Meet NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Mad Bull Youth wrestling club won five gold medals and grabbed 10 medals in the Connecticut Green Knights season kickoff wrestling tournament held in Terryville. Nicky Singer, Jason Singer, Koy Price, Jack Cahill and Mikey Bartush captured gold medals. Sam White, Noah Fraas, Damari Maxam, Jacob Gonzales and Charlie Prather finished second. MakerBot In Greenwich Holds Children's 3D Printing Class GREENWICH, Conn. -- The recently opened MakerBot in Greenwich is registering children for a 3D printing class. Admission is $10 for the class, which is for kids ages 8-and-up. The workshop offers an intro to Tinkercad, a simple software to design things, then build them in real-life using a MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer. Registration Opens For Norwalk Little League NORWALK, Conn. – Online registration has opened for the Norwalk Little League. Players ages 4 to 12 can register online. Registration Opens For Boston Buildup Races In Norwalk FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Registration has opened for the popular Boston Buildup running series, which begins with a 10-kilometer run Sunday, Jan. 5. The series includes four runs stretching over two months. The runs increase by 5 kilometers in successive events and are frequently used as training for runners preparing for spring marathons. Stamford Synchronized Skating Teams Earn 3 Medals STAMFORD, Conn. -- Three teams from Southern Connecticut Synchronized Skating won medals at the Terry Conners Southern Connecticut Synchronized Skating Open last weekend in Stamford.
