Rain Cancels Race In Greenwich GREENWICH, Conn. -- Due to heavy rains and predicted coastal flooding, Friday's Cook Your Buns race at Tod's Point in Old Greenwich has been cancelled. No make up date has been announced. Runners seeking an alternative this weekend have their choice of two events on Sunday. At 10 a.m. in Darien, the Roots, Rock & Run three-miler will be held from Rory's, across the street from Runner's Roost on the Post Road. Musical Event In Yonkers Features Open Mic, Performances YONKERS, N.Y. -- The SouL Box, which features an open mic night and performances by several groups will be held Friday, June 7, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Nepperhan Community Center in Yonkers. The center is at 342 Warburton Ave. The night will include an open forum, snacks and beverages and dinner specials. The show will be the final SouL Box, which is hosted by the group Speakers of the House. Friday's musical performers include Hometown Heroes, Knickie D and Gabriel Ramirez, along with Tom Ray and Speakers of the House. The event has been running for three years.
