Fourth-seeded Notre Dame will play No. 5 Masuk at 5 p.m. at Lauralton Hall High School in Milford. Joel Barlow climbed up to the No. 6 seed with Tuesday’s win over Weston and will meet No. 3 Newtown at 5 p.m. at Pomperaug. Quarterfinal winners advance to the league semifinals Tuesday at Weston High School.

Young Norwalk Wrestlers Earn State Honors NORWALK, Conn. – Four first-year wrestlers in the Norwalk Mad Bull program earned trophies Sunday at the Bantam State Championships in Bristol. Jack Cahill, Jaylen Carter and Luke Villaluz - all second graders - won their weight classes while Mikey Bartush finished second.The Mad Bulls and coach Randy Haus have only been competing for two years. New Canaan Athletes Win at State Track Meet NEW CANAAN, Conn. – New Canaan’s Stephanie Benko and Rami Hamdan won individual events and the Rams captured two boys relays titles in the Class L indoor track and field championships Monday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven. New Canaan’s boys finished third with 46 points, behind Windsor (62) and Darien (58). The girls finished ninth with 18 points. Benko blew away the field to win the 3,200, winning in 11:20.17. Fairfield Runners Capture State Track Titles FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Senior Harry Warnick and sophomore Cate Allen each won two races to lead a strong performance by Fairfield Warde runners at the Class L indoor track and field championships at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven.
