Fairfield Prep Football Star Commits to Stonehill FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield Prep’s Serge Jean-Baptiste, a resident of Norwalk, signed a national letter of intent to play football at Stonehill College in Massachusetts. Jean-Baptiste has been a three-year starter as an offensive and defensive lineman. In his sophomore year, he played defensive tackle and was chosen as the team’s Most Improved Player. Scoring Change Takes Away Darien Girls Track Title DARIEN, Conn. – Darien High’s girls track team was removed as the winner of the Class L indoor championships when a scoring error was noticed in preparing for Saturday’s State Open. An error in the pole vault results reported at the meet was discovered while the seeding for the open was being completed, according to the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference. The error allowed Windsor to edge ahead of Darien to earn team honors. Windsor finished with 71 points, while Darien had 70.
