The Senators’ field hockey team (6-7-3-0) is seeded 15th and opens the tournament Thursday with a 3:30 p.m. home game against No. 18 Southington. Westhill Trio Runs in State Cross Country Open STAMFORD, Conn. – Westhill sisters Nicole and Alison Ambrosecchio competed in the girls race  Tuesday at the State Open championships at Hammonasset State Park in Madison. Westhill's Sam Lagasse ran in the boys division. Nicole Ambrosecchio, a junior, covered the 5k course in 20:10 to finish 54th. Alison, a freshman, finished 58th in 20:15.
