Ostberg, a freshman, covered the 5k course in 17:06, followed by Johnson in 17:16, Charlie Baird (seventh, 17:35), Michael Coe (eighth, 17:42) and Marshall Huffman (13th, 18:13). Embattled Wilton Girls Soccer Coach Resigns WILTON, Conn. – Wilton High School girls soccer coach Scott Neumann resigned Friday after being placed on leave earlier in the week, according to several reports.Wilton school officials sent out a brief statement Friday, indicating that Neumann had resigned. Neumann was also a physical education teacher at the school. He was placed on leave while the school investigated alleged misconduct.Neumann was in his sixth year as the coach at Wilton, and his team won two state championships. David McCumber, 59, is the editorial director of the Hearst Connecticut Media Group. He lives in Wilton.
