Police: Sneaker Thief Caught On Video In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Fairfield Police have released photos of a man they say stole seven pairs of Nike sneakers from the DSW on the Post Road on Friday. The shoe store manager alerted police around 6:30 p.m. after a review of surveillance video showed a heavyset white or Hispanic man stuffing the sneakers into a large black bag he pulled from underneath his shirt and leaving the store without paying, police said.
