Bridgeport Man Arrested On Marijuana, DUI Charges After Westport Crash WESTPORT, Conn. -- A 21-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested on drunken driving and marijuana possession charges after crashing his car in Westport in the early morning hours on Friday, according to police. Westport officers located a crash on Saugatuck Avenue near Ferry Lane at around 12:30 a.m. Friday. Salesman Can't Land Sale, Throws Rocks At Westport Eatery WESTPORT, Conn. -- An Ansonia man who thought he could get a Westport restaurant to buy cleaning product from him by spraying it on multiple surfaces got arrested after throwing rocks at the business when he surprisingly didn't land the sale. Police were dispatched to a restaurant on Riverside Avenue Thursday afternoon around 1 p.m. on a report of a man who had entered and caused a disturbance. Night Work Begins On Route 8 Bridges In Trumbull Next Week TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Drivers can expect lane closures on Route 8 in Trumbull beginning next week as the Department of Transportation performs nighttime bridge maintenance. The work consists of maintenance on the Route 15 northbound underpass and the Route 15 southbound underpass. Norwalk Man Facing Drug Charges Arrested Again After Accident NORWALK, Conn. — A Norwalk man headed to trial on a litany of drug charges was arrested after a car accident Wednesday night, according to the Hour. Zachary Fisher, 25, was due to appear in court Thursday to face a jury on drug charges dating back to February of 2016, according to the Hour.
