Greenwich Parking Employee Charged With Pocketing Money From Violations GREENWICH, Conn. — A Greenwich employee was charged Monday with stealing money from the Parking Services Department where he has worked since 2009, according to Greenwich Time. Town officials told Greenwich Time that a review of revenue from the Parking Services Department more than a year ago uncovered a revenue shortfall, which prompted an investigation. Chicago Man Caught In Trumbull With 28 Pounds Of Heroin Gets 12 Years TRUMBULL, Conn. -- A Chicago man who was caught with 28 pounds of heroin when he was stopped in Trumbull last May has been sentenced to 12 years in prison, according to the Connecticut Post. Jose Adorno, 51, told state troopers that he was traveling from Chicago to Hartford to visit his sister when he was pulled over on Route 15 in Trumbull for driving erratically on May 17, according to the Connecticut Post. Norwalk Massage Parlor Shut Down After Numerous Prostitution Raids NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk has shut down a spa on Main Street after it was raided in March in a prostitution sting for the 10th time since 2007, according to the Hour. 61-Year-Old Bridgeport Man Busted On Drug-Dealing Charges BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A Bridgeport man was arrested on drug charges after police in MIlford found cocaine during a traffic stop Friday. Bernardo Pizarro, 61, of Bridgeport was getting on to the I-95 on-ramp at near exit 34 in Milford Friday at 11:30 a.m. when police stopped him for a license plate violation, police said.
