Malloy: Connecticut Continues Increased Focus On Road Resurfacing FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Connecticut resurfaced 330 miles of two-lane roadways in 2015, continuing a four-year trend of increases in road resurfacing, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy announced Monday. The state resurfaced 25 more miles of roadways than it did in 2014, and nearly 90 more miles than it did in 2013, Malloy said. The Department of Transportation has typically resurfaced between 225 to 250 miles of roadway annually. Richard Blumenthal presented him with three medals that he earned during his tour of duty.
