This is the seventh year that the family has hosted their Lemonade for Leukemia event. It all started back in 2003 when Lael Porcelli's niece, Katie, was diagnosed with leukemia. Harrison Increases Water Rates 6.5 Percent HARRISON, N.Y. -- Harrison homeowners will have to pay 6.5 percent more for their water next year after the Town Board unanimously approved an increase in water rates. The increase in rates was recommended by the Westchester Joint Water Works, the utility that provides water to Harrison and the village of Mamaroneck. The utility purchases its water from the New York City water system, which increased its costs 12.3 percent in July. The 6.5 percent increase was recommended based on water-use levels from 2011.
