Rye Hosts Memorial Day Ceremony Monday RYE, N.Y. -- Rye's American Legion Post 128 will host a Memorial Day service on the Village Green Monday to pay tribute to those who have given their lives in service to the country. The event will begin at 9:45 a.m. There will be speeches made and benedictions read, and there will be a reading of the men and women of Rye who have served in the armed services. Westchester Legislator Sues To Stop Rye Playland Deal RYE, N.Y. – Westchester Board of Legislators Chairman Ken Jenkins filed a lawsuit Thursday in an effort to annul the County Executive Rob Astorino's agreement with Sustainable Playland to take over management of Rye Playland.
