The proposed budget for the 2013-14 school year is $85,194,914, a 4.76 percent increase over last year's $81.3 million budget. The tax levy will increase 2.83 percent. The proposed 2013-14 budget is $108,019,168, a 3.64 percent increase over last year's $104 million budget. If passed, the tax rate is expected to increase 3.98 percent and the tax levy will increase 3.47 percent. In order to keep the budget under the state's tax cap levy, the district was forced to cut $2.25 million from the budget in non-program spending.
