The Grants have long support Purchase College through the Eugene and Emily Grant Music Scholarship program, which has provided scholarships to hundreds of students. Rye Police Warn Of Television Scam RYE, N.Y. -- Someone is trying to sell boxes of rocks disguised as televisions, according to Rye police. Police have received several fraud reports of someone driving around in a gray minivan selling televisions. When the television box is opened, there is nothing inside but rocks. No description of the suspects or license plate information was given. "This is an old scam, but victims still fall prey to it," police said in a statement.
