Founded by the Grateful Dead's Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, the band will perform musical improvisations and renditions of Grateful Dead favorites. Rye Marathon Runner Reflects On Boston Bombings RYE, N.Y. – Rye runner Tim O’Toole was about half a mile away from the Boston Marathon finish line when the two bombs went off Monday afternoon. He and his group of seven runners experienced “two hours of sheer fright” as they scrambled to find each other, get out of harm’s way and let their families know they were all right. “After the first explosion, we didn’t really know what it was.
