Westchester Airport Increases Security After Boston Explosions PURCHASE, N.Y. -- Patrols have been increased at Westchester County Airport in the wake of the two explosions at the Boston Marathon Monday. The Westchester County Department of Public Safety has also increased patrols on the county parkways, according to Lt. Thomas Murphy. There have been no incidents to report, but Murphy said that the department is making sure to do due diligence. Murphy said he doesn't know how long patrols will be increased, but said that the department will remain on high alert until further notice.

Blind Brook Team Wins County Mock Trial Competition RYE BROOK, N.Y. -- Blind Brook High School's Mock Trial team won the Westchester County Mock Trial competition for the sixth time in the school's history. The team defeated rival Rye Neck in the county finals at the Westchester County Courthouse last week. This is the first win for second-year adviser Rita Gianfrancesco.
