Second Suspect Charged In Two Darien Burglaries DARIEN, Conn. - A second man was charged with breaking into a Darien home on Mystic Lane in October. He also was charged with a burglary on Scout Trail. Police charged Conner Buckley, 21, of Shelton with conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and second-degree larceny. He was arrested Thursday at Stamford Superior Court and was held on a $5,000 bond. On Oct. 9, Darien resident Tighe Sullivan, 51, was one of two people killed in a helicopter crash in Pennsylvania. Pilot William Ellsworth, 52, of Califon, N.J. also was killed in the crash, and passenger Stephen Barral of Bernardsville, N.J. sustained injuries but survived. Darien Begins Revaluing Residential Properties DARIEN, Conn. - Darien is in the process of revaluing all real estate properties in town. Data collectors have begun gathering information about each home in Darien and will continue through the spring. Property revaluation is performed every five years. The purpose is to ensure uniformity in the market value of homes and bring the tax assessor’s information on homes up to date. The tax assessor’s office has signed a contract with the Tyler Company to assist in the project. Charges against former Morgan Stanley executive William Bryan Jennings were dropped in October. Jennings had been accused of getting into an altercation with a cab driver late last year. In late December 2011, cab driver Mohammad Ammar told police he had picked up Jennings in Manhattan after a holiday party and agreed to drive him back to Darien. Thief Makes Off With Cash Box From Darien Pizzeria DARIEN, Conn. - A thief broke into Heights Pizza in Darien and stole a cash box last week, police said. The burglary occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m.  Dec. 16 and 6:40 the following morning. The burglar broke out a section of glass in the door and disengaged the lock to gain entry, police said. The cash box that was stolen contained approximately $400.
