Newtown Man Charged With Breaking Into Darien Home DARIEN, Conn. – A Newtown man was charged with breaking into a Darien home on Mystic Road in October. Police said additional arrests are expected in the case. Eammon Donnelly, 30, was charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny. He posted a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 17. On Oct. 2, a resident of a home on Mystic Road left for about three hours. Darien Students Collecting Money For Rockaway School DARIEN, Conn. ? Students from Darien High School and Royle School have teamed up to help East Rockaway High School recover from Hurricane Sandy. They will collect monetary contributions through Wednesday, Dec. 5, to buy items requested by the East Rockaway faculty for use in the classroom. Donations will be accepted during morning drop-offs and at the DHS front desk throughout the day. The project is a joint effort of Darien high’s Community Council and Royle's Student Government.
