Norwalk Woman Arrested In Darien On Drug Charges DARIEN, Conn. – A Norwalk woman was charged with possession of heroin and morphine after her car was stopped in Darien, police said. Janice Tate, 49, was pulled over Thursday after officers reported seeing her cross over the double yellow line on Tokeneke Road and following too closely to the car in front of her. Tate initially identified herself with a different first name, police said. Zulu the drug-sniffing dog was brought in to conduct a free air sniff of the car, police said. Man Charged With Kidnapping Norwalk Ex-Girlfriend NORWALK, Conn. – Norwalk police arrested a Bridgeport man after he was accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend, taking her back to his apartment and sexually assaulting her. Witnesses reported seeing a man and woman arguing on West Cedar Street Friday night before he forced her into a truck and drove off, according to police reports.
