Chris Shays and former WWE CEO Linda McMahon face off in the primary. The Connecticut Republican Party endorsed McMahon at its convention May 18. She won support from 60 percent of the delegates, while Shays was the choice of 32 percent. Much of the talk in the race has focused on the economy. Woman Charged With Selling Drugs To Darien Cop DARIEN, Conn. – A Milford woman has been charged with selling drugs to an undercover Darien police officer. According to Darien Police reports, the officer arranged to purchase $200 of cocaine from Zita Lyons, 52, in Darien on July 30, a buy that took place at the I-95 southbound service area in Fairfield, police said.
