Ridgewood High School Bands Selling Fruit For "Blitz Day" Fundraiser RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Ridgewood High School bands will be selling fruit door-to-door for their annual Blitz Day on Sunday, January 10. Proceeds from the event benefit the school's band program, which is made up of several groups, including the marching band, jazz ensembles, small ensembles and curricular bands. Items available through the sale include California navel oranges, red grapefruits or a combination of both. A mixed box of apples and pears is also available.
