Shelton Area Lawmakers To Ring The Bell For Salvation Army At Walmart SHELTON, Conn. -- State Sen. Kevin Kelly (R-21), along with State Reps. Jason Perillo (R-113) and Ben McGorty (R-122), will participate in the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign by ringing bells at the Shelton Walmart on Saturday, Dec. 19, from noon to 1 p.m. The public is welcome to attend and donate to the campaign. Walmart will match all contributions up to $25,000 received during the hour. Kelly, an assistant minority leader, represents Monroe, Seymour, Shelton and Stratford. Perillo represents Shelton and McGorty represents Shelton, Stratford and Trumbull.

Pascale has announced that Dominick Gliatta, director of guidance, received the second annual Ramapo College Nancy Jaeger Award for Excellence in Counseling on Friday, Dec. 4. The award is named after Jaeger, Ramapo's former director of admissions, who fostered close relationships with guidance counselors across the state over the course of her nearly- 40 year career. The honor is presented to guidance counselors who connect students with the college while demonstrating excellence in their field.
