The event will be held at the school, 627 E. Ridgewood Ave., on Friday, Jan. 15, at 1:30 p.m. The festivities will include a student performance honoring the 1960s, followed by an alumni reception. Grant Jumpstarts Danbury Hospital's Pancreatic Cancer Study DANBURY, Conn. -- Researchers at the Western Connecticut Health Network – which includes Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals – have announced a new study designed to yield insights into how to detect and treat pancreatic cancer. WCHN researchers will focus on the potential development of biomarkers for pancreatic cancer from small, non-coding RNA molecules – ncRNA – genetic material that is present in the blood of patients with the disease. Each senior was given a silver bell with his or her name engraved on it to hang. “It’s a rite of passage and a senior privilege to decorate the tree our last year at ICHS,” senior Arianna Azzolino said. Kim Guadagno will be visiting Ridgewood High School on Thursday, Dec. 10, to help kick off the #RockYourSocks campaign to collect new pairs of socks for Covenant House.
