At Englewood Nature Center Crafts Event ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- Flat Rock Brook Nature Center will be hosting Nature's Gifts, a natural crafts program, on Thursday, Dec. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. Participants will learn how to make do-it-yourself crafts on a small budget. Rockland Haiti Relief Plans Fundraiser In Suffern SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Suffern-area residents will soon be offering the ravaged nation of Haiti another helping hand. Rockland County Haiti Relief’s 2016 annual fundraising gala will be held Saturday, Jan. 16, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Suffern. The relief organization, at 16 E. Church St. in Spring Valley, was founded in 2008. The group expanded its efforts on behalf of the island after the 2010 earthquake that left as many as 230,000 people dead.
