Fairfield Seeks Input On Making Pickwick A One-Way Street FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Board of Police Commissioners is considering a proposal to make Pickwick Street a one-way street from Villa Avenue to Brookfield Avenue. The proposal will be considered at a meeting of the Police Commission that will be held on Dec. 9, at 4:30 p.m. at Fairfield Police Headquarters, 100 Reef Road. The police are encouraging public attendance at the meeting, and input from residents using the online form here.

Nyack artist Tony Ziegler, who is featured in the documentary, will speak about the film and his experiences working as an artist during that time.

Contractor Charged With Larceny After Failing To Complete Westport Project WESTPORT, Conn. -- An East Haven contractor was arrested on larceny charges after failing to finish a project at a Westport home, police said.  A Westport resident filed a complaint in September that he had hired Noah Cifarelli, 58, and his firm, CT Windows and Sunrooms LLC, back in December 2014 to reconstruct his pool roof and paid $5,000 up front as part of the contract, police said. Men's Association Helps Darien Chamber Spruce Up Wreaths DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Community Association Men’s Association recently volunteered to help the Chamber of Commerce take its wreaths with holiday lights out of storage for some sprucing up. Through donations from residents and local businesses, the Chamber was able to purchase 180 new bows for the wreaths. The Men’s Association members replaced the bows and checked every light bulb so the wreaths will be ready to be displayed by Thanksgiving.
